The Iliad by Homer
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
This book is a giant list of people, and for some of them, a detailed description of how they died. Where the spear entered, where it exited, or whether the second layer of leather underneath the bronze layer on their corselet blunted the tip or not.
Beyond that, there's a roughly five-minute story about Hector, Achilles, Agamemnon, and the rest of the heroes involved in the Trojan war.
Do yourself a favor and read the cliff notes.
